This Month’s Guest Mentor
Mr. Nguyễn Việt Đức is one of the pioneering figures in the field of venture capital and innovation ecosystem development in Vietnam. Currently serving as the President of Innovation Capital Management (ICM)—the first licensed venture capital management company in Vietnam under Decree 38—Mr. Đức has supported hundreds of startups from ideation through acceleration and successful fundraising.
Before founding ICM, he held senior executive positions at KPMG, HDBank, PVI Sun Life, and Bảo Việt Life. He is an expert in investment, financial management, business development, and public policy. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Đức is not only an investor but also a system builder who has contributed to the design of innovation funding mechanisms for local governments, international organizations, and universities.
Alongside his professional activities, he also teaches, mentors, and serves as a judge in numerous startup competitions, making impactful contributions to student communities, young entrepreneurs, and youth-led initiatives. With a strong commitment to knowledge sharing and long-term value creation, he is regarded as one of the most dedicated leaders in Vietnam’s innovation and startup movement.
